Renovation of a recreation facility in Waveland, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade recreation facility.

The work consists primarily of repairs to the Garfield Ladner Pier as a result of Hurricane Zeta damage, with construction items as detailed in the plans and specifications prepared by the City of Waveland’s engineer of record. Bids must be submitted on the standard forms provided within the contract documents. Each bid must include a Certified Check or Bidder’s Bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid price as bid security, and bidders may be required to submit a current financial statement if requested. The successful bidder must furnish both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Required documents should be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Garfield Ladner Pier Repair FEMA Project #171315 PW#392” and must display the bidder’s Certificate of Responsibility Number on the outside. Bids may be deposited in person at the designated city office or submitted online under the project’s page prior to the specified hour and date. Oral, telegraphic, telephonic, or e-mail proposals are not permitted. All addenda issued by the Engineer must be acknowledged in the bid proposal. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. Work must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and Local Regulations and Codes. A Pre-Bid meeting will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 1:30 PM (CST). The conference will be held at 125 N Beach Blvd, Waveland, MS 39576.
