The project consists of construction of a new influent lift station, headworks screening building, shot fence, lagoon bypass piping and associated control/diversion structures, lagoon liner replacement, sludge removal, aeration for cells 2 and 3, upgrades to the chlorine dosing system, dechlorination upgrades, and associated electrical and controls, plus miscellaneous appurtenant work. Bids must be completed on a lump sum basis as indicated on the proposal form, and the total as defined in the Special Provisions will be used for comparison of bids. Award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder. All bids must be signed, accompanied by evidence of authority to sign, and include bid security equal to 5% of the proposal amount. Bid security may be a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or cash, and will be forfeited as liquidated damages if the successful bidder fails to enter into contract.
