The scope of this project includes limited interior demolition, updated fixtures and finishes, modifications as required for ADA compliance, and updated MEP systems. B. Type of Contract 1. The scope of work includes upgrades in several areas: - Mechanical room: cleaning, patching, and painting of walls, doors, and ceilings; removal of unused equipment; conversion of the HVAC system to natural gas and elimination of the oil tank. - Staff and Patron Restrooms: installation of new fixtures, LED lighting, improved accessibility; staff restrooms to have a closet and concealed piping; patron restrooms to be reconfigured for ADA compliance, single-use, with a baby changing station and new tile. - Staff Area: new carpet, modular walls, drop ceiling, and reversed door swing. - Staff Lounge: new sink, microwave, shelving, counters, drywall partition separating from multipurpose area. - Children's and Adult Areas: new flooring, painted walls, glazed brick, reconfigured shelving, and ceiling grid upgrades. - Exterior: replacement of trim coil and soffit; repainting ADA-compliant handrails and smoking areas. - Data and A/V upgrades: relocated power poles and a new monitor. - Other: doors and hardware will switch to lever handles; minor electrical work including new outlets, switches, and lighting.
