Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Bloomington, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot.
Sealed proposals are requested for Hardscape Improvements 2025, Project at Showers Building located at 501 N. Morton St., Bloomington, Indiana. Proposals will be received until 10:00 a.m. local standard time on November 6, 2025, at the Legal office, 100 W. Kirkwood Ave Courthouse, Second Floor, Room 220, Bloomington, IN 47404, at which time they will be opened and publicly read aloud. Attendance at the scheduled pre-bid meeting is highly recommended, which will be held at 10:00 a.m., local time, on October 24, 2025, at the project site. Proposals received after the designated time will be returned unopened. Proposals must be submitted in duplicate using the provided Bid Supplement, properly filled in, together with Indiana State Board of Account Form No. 96 (2013), Parts I and II. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, money order, or satisfactory Bid Bond for not less than 5-percent of the total Bid price, made payable to the Owner, and delivered in a sealed opaque envelope listing the Bidder's name and address. Prime contractors are encouraged to involve qualified minority subcontractors and must provide evidence that such quotations have been solicited. Work must comply with specifications and contract drawings prepared by the Architect/Consultant. The project is let as a single, prime contract. Base and Alternate Bids should be submitted as described. Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid or waive any informality or errors during a period of 30 days from the bid date. Contracts are intended to be awarded within 30 days. Should a Bidder withdraw their Bid within this period without consent or fail to execute a satisfactory contract including bonds within 10 days of written notice of acceptance, the Bid Security may be forfeited as liquidated damages. The successful Bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond equal to 100 percent of the contract amount, both to remain effective for 12 months after acceptance of work and to be furnished at the Notice to Proceed.
