Site work for a water / sewer project in Kingsville, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The City of Kingsville will receive bids for storm water improvements projects, including GLO SW Project 11 (E. King Ave) and Project 12 (S. 14th St.), funded under the CDBG-MIT GLO contract. Bid/Contract Documents, including drawings and technical specifications, are available at City of Kingsville offices and website. Bidders must submit a bid bond at 5% of the bid for contracts over $100,000, or may submit an equivalent certified check or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds. The project is financed by the General Land Office under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Community Development Block Grant - Mitigation program, and all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations apply. The prevailing Davis-Bacon wage rate must be paid. The successful bidder must ensure nondiscrimination in employment. All contractors and subcontractors must not be suspended or debarred prior to contract award. Minority, small, women, veteran-owned businesses, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to bid. The City of Kingsville reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities. Bids may be held for up to 60 days for review and investigation of qualifications prior to contract award. Adherence to the City of Kingsville Section 3 Policy is required for all contracts.
