Renovation of an educational facility in Hightstown, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
The Work consists of, but not limited to: replacement of RTU's, new and altered VAV boxes, replacement of exhaust fans, installation of new ductless split systems, modifications of existing baseboard and installation of radiant panels. New ceilings and lighting to be installed in designated areas. Sealed proposals are invited for HVAC and Interior Upgrades at the Hightstown High School 100 Wing in Hightstown, Mercer County, New Jersey. Drawings, specifications, and proposal forms are available from the architect's office. Only bidders with DPMC Trade Classification C032 HVACR are eligible to submit bids. Each bidder must provide security of at least 10% of the bid (maximum $20,000) via certified check or standard bid bond, as stipulated. Bidders must comply with the Public Contracts Affirmative Action Statute, Prevailing Wage Law, the Americans with Disabilities Act, UGG 200.326, and all applicable New Jersey statutes. Bidders must also fulfill business registration and use tax requirements. All contractors and subcontractors are bound by the terms of the New Jersey Schools Development Authority (SDA) funding agreement and are subject to background checks. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any non-responsive bid or all bids, waive minor informalities, or award a lump sum contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, in accordance with the law.
