Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Emporia, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The scope of this project will be as follows and indicated on the drawings: 1. Sitework shall include the installation of a site concrete sidewalk and steps with associated railings. 2. No underground utility work will be required. 3. All disturbance of yards and the surrounding site are to be restored to present conditions. 4. Multiple phased interior renovations are included, with demolition, new walls/doors/casework/ finishes required. 5. Electrical/Security, Fire alarm and keyless entry door lock system renovations/additions will be required, as coordinated directly with the City. The Owner shall not be responsible for bid envelopes being opened prematurely due to envelopes not being properly marked. The City of Emporia reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive any minor discrepancies or technicalities in the proposal or specifications, which is required to complete this project, or when deemed to be in the best interest of the municipality.
