Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in West Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The City of West Sacramento is seeking proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide landscape maintenance at various City properties. The work includes maintaining turf grass, ornamental grass, shrubs, vines, parking lots, walkways, weed control in planter beds, turf, and open space, trash pickup, and graffiti removal. The contractor must report pesticide use to the County of Yolo and send a copy to the Parks and Recreation Department. Occasionally, work outside of the noted areas may be requested and will be billed separately. This may include mulching, planting, irrigation repairs or retrofits, basic concrete work, or other items related to long-term landscape prosperity. The contractor must furnish all necessary labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, services, disposal fees, and transportation required to provide the services. Work must be conducted between 7 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday, and between 8 AM and 4 PM on weekends and City holidays. The contractor is also required to have a safety program and provide a traffic control plan if any traffic lanes need to be closed.
