Sealed bids are requested for Solid Waste Collection (trash service). The work includes providing one 96-gallon trash container and one 96-gallon recycling cart to each household. Specified village locations will receive weekly trash service at no charge, with containers and dumpsters of specified sizes provided to each site (Village Hall, Civic Center, Fire Station, Maintenance Building, High School, Grade School, Ball Field, Senior Building, Tennis Court, Baptist Church, Christian Church, Meat Market). Village-wide cleanup will be provided for two days each year, one in spring and one in fall, scheduled on mutually agreed dates. Additional cans will be supplied by the trash service and billed directly to customers. All bids must be submitted in sealed form, addressed appropriately, before the specified deadline. The Village reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or bids, or to waive formalities in the bidding process. Bidders may direct questions as instructed.
