Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Kearney, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Project includes traffic control, removal of existing bridge, construction of 55 ft. long, clear span concrete deck, steel girder bridge with steel guardrail, approach guardrail installation, and associated work. Bids shall include a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total base bid, provided as a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond payable to the owner. The selected bidder must supply performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the total base bid. Bids must be submitted on furnished forms, sealed, and marked with bidder contact information. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, hold bids for 30 days, and select the most beneficial bid. Estimated Budget is $300,000-$800,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
