Stormwater improvements will divert the drainage from a culvert under SW 2nd street to a proposed storm sewer system which will run parallel to SW 2nd (HWY 72) for about 100 feet then turn north along NW O Street on the west side of the road. It will then discharge into the grouted riprap channel about 600 feet north of SW 2nd Street. The project consists of storm sewer pipe, inlets, box culvert, and channel reconstruction to improve stormwater conveyance along SW 2nd Street and NW O Street. Project site quantities include: 16 LF of 72" X 48" concrete box culvert, 679 LF of reinforced concrete pipe (ranging from 18" to 36"), 9 inlets, 2 junction boxes, 1 wingwall, headwall, apron, and weir, 12 SY of grouted riprap, 30 LF of grouted riprap wall, 13 LF of wood fence remove and re-install, white vinyl fence, iron fence, and partial irrigation system remove and re-installation (replace as needed), 23 LF of split steel encasement, 300 CY (estimate) of rock excavation, 21 CY of off-site fill, 72 SY of sidewalk replacement, 154 SY of concrete driveway replacement, 162 SY of overlay asphalt, 106 SY of mill asphalt, 56 SY of concrete pavement replacement, 1013 SY of asphalt pavement replacement, 557 LF of Type "A" curb and gutter, 750 SY of sodding, erosion control, tree protection, temporary traffic control, mobilization, demolition, tree removal, clearing and grubbing, pavement marking, and all other miscellaneous work required for completion of the project.
