Site work for a residential development in Frisco, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade, 334-unit residential development.
The project scope includes approximately 87 acres of clearing and grubbing, 240,000 cubic yards of excavation, and lot grading for 334 residential lots. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the contract and execute the bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within 7 days after the date the Contractor is notified. The Owner is not obligated to accept the lowest bid or any bid and reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bids or in bidding. The Owner may accept the bid of any responsible person deemed most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the project. If awarded the contract, the bidder must provide a printed, executed, and notarized original of a completed Certificate of Interested Parties form (Form 1295) and a Verification of Compliance with Government Code Chapters 2252 and 2270 form.
