Demolition will require the removal of an existing asphalt parking lot and entrance drive (approximately 12,000 sf), a few small trees, and a light pole. Site improvements will include a new asphalt entrance drive and parking lot (approximately 23,000 sf), new concrete sidewalks from the parking lot to the Chapel doors, new light poles and fixtures, new concrete curbing, new trees, and stormwater management facilities (including a dry swale, a detention basin, and connection to the City Storm Sewer). The project also includes three add alternates: an asphalt drive along the west side of the Chapel connecting the parking lot and the existing parking lot to the north, an asphalt drive along the east side of the Chapel connecting the entrance drive and the existing parking lot to the north, and a concrete sidewalk connecting the main entrance to the Chapel to Nelson Street. Proposals may be emailed, mailed, or delivered in person in advance of the opening. A 5% Bid Security is required with the bid. The Owner reserves the right to require and pay the cost of 100% Payment and Performance Bonds for the successful Bidder. Wage rates do not apply. New York State MWBE participation goals do apply.
