The City of Alcoa is requesting bids for the purchase and/or installation of a new emergency backup generator and transfer switch for the City of Alcoa Municipal Building. All purchases are F.O.B. City of Alcoa, TN. Bids may be submitted via mail, delivery, or email, and must be labeled as specified. Bids must be completed on the form issued by the City, completed in ink, and signed. The City of Alcoa reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, accept bids with variations from specifications if merited, negotiate with the lowest bidder prior to acceptance, and accept partial bids. The City also reserves the right to waive any formality, and to accept the best bid as determined by City Officials, or to not enter into any contract as a result of the request for bids.
