Tatamy Borough Sewer Authority will receive sealed bids for the Prospect Street Sewer Relocation Project. The project consists of the installation of one sanitary sewer manhole, 146 linear feet of 8-inch SDR-26, reconstruction of two existing laterals, connecting to an existing sanitary sewer manhole, and the removal/abandonment of the existing sewer system as described in the contract documents. This work includes incidental construction, pavement restoration, and grass restoration. Bids will be received via PennBid until 3:00 PM (prevailing time) on Thursday, November 13, 2025. All documents are available at no cost at PennBid. The project is subject to the applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security made payable to the Tatamy Borough Sewer Authority in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price and in the form of a certified or bank check or a bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of the General Conditions. The successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds each in the amount equal to the contract price and meeting the requirements of the General Conditions. Bids will only be accepted by bona fide bidders as outlined in the specifications. Tatamy Borough Sewer Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities, and to reject any or all bids.
