Renovation of a military facility in Avon Park, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility; and military facility.
Provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances, and supervision necessary to repair the fire protection and detection systems and the hangar door for Building 632. Work includes removal of existing AFFF tanks and associated piping and installation of new water piping and pumps, as well as resizing pumps in the Base Pump House (Building 831) to provide adequate pressure to the fire water loop. Remove existing Megadoor hangar doors at the north door of Building 632, including mullion doors, motors, conduit, and wiring, and provide and install a new Megadoor vertical lift hangar door system with all associated components. The Megadoor vertical lift hangar door by ASSA ABLOY is specified for compatibility with the existing installation systems. An optional line item includes providing and installing a new generator. The period of performance is 365 calendar days after notice to proceed, including inspection and punch list completion.
