The contractor shall provide on-call residential electrical services to support the Housing Authority of Washington County in maintaining safe, functional, and code-compliant electrical systems across its housing portfolio. Services include troubleshooting, repair, replacement, installation, and preventive maintenance of electrical components in both occupied and unoccupied residential units, as well as common areas and administrative facilities. The contractor is responsible for direct labor, equipment, consumable materials, supplies, overhead, supervision, required permits, mileage, travel time, debris disposal, and truck charges. The contractor must obtain all necessary permits and coordinate jurisdictional inspections, possess a valid Residential Electrician License, and coordinate with tenants as needed to perform work efficiently. There is no guarantee of vacancy status or the quantity of work, with assignments performed as needed. The contractor must complete an affidavit regarding collusion, comply with Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, and ensure residents have continuous access to their units during the project, including providing clear signage, fencing, or necessary barriers.
