Painting existing wall finishes damaged during the renovation. c. Install new conduits for power, security, telecommunications and data inthe CVCInterior. d. Install new conduits for power, security, telecommunications and data outsidetheCVCbldg.d. Construction of the weather barrier wall on the exterior at conduit wall penetrations. e. Construction of fire rated dust barriers in the interior for conduit installations. f. Re-install new electrical light pole, foundation and wiring in newlocation. g. Install new transformer adjacent to guard booth. h. Install new concrete sidewalks and roadway at new conduit locations. i. Install new guard booth, reinforced concrete foundation and conduits to guardbooth. j. Install new landscape at guard booth. k. Coordinate all accommodations with UM Security. l. Coordinate installation of guard booth with power, security telecommunications anddata. The project will start when all required materials are on hand or in fabrication for deliveryduringtheconstruction period. The Work consists of renovations to portions of the existing Samuel and Jean Frankel CardiovascularCenter (CVC), Level 1, Level 2 building and exterior. The purpose of the project is toprovidearchitecturaldesign, electrical and civil engineering services to install power, security, telecommunications anddatatothePavilion Loading Dock Guard Booth located at the CVC building. The power and security/ communicationrunfrom CVC Level 1 and Level 2 will need to extend to the new guard booth. The workwill includeapproximately +/-1,200 gross sq. ft. of space. Major aspects of the work include, but are not limitedto: E. The Work consists of installing power, security, telecommunications and data to the newguardbooth. Removalof ceiling tiles will be required to install the conduits above the ceiling plenumon Level 1 of theCVCbuilding.The conduits will have to travel along the corridors and exit through the existing reinforcedexterior concretewalls. The conduits will then travel under sidewalks and roadways to the location of the newguardbooth.building and cutting back a planter.
