Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Edgerton, Kansas. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
The City of Edgerton is seeking qualifications from interested firms to provide park planning and landscape architecture services related to the planning and development of the Martin Creek Park Exploration Project. The selected Project Team will be responsible for leading a community visioning process for Martin Creek Park, using sound landscape architectural and engineering principles, and evaluating innovative approaches alongside cost saving measures to optimize resources. Project goals include analyzing existing conditions of the park grounds, features, and amenities, prioritizing recommendations for maintenance and repair versus replacement and renovation, conducting public engagement to develop conceptual design options, and developing a phased park improvement/renovation conceptual design. The process should build upon previous planning efforts and studies, utilize community feedback, consider industry standards and trends, and identify park needs for today and the next 10 years, developing prioritization and phasing strategies to guide decision-making and investment. Bidders must submit a digital response by email prior to the deadline, clearly marked as a "Statement of Qualifications for Edgerton Martin Creek Park Exploration." Emails received after the deadline will not be acknowledged.
