Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade transportation facility.
The work involves new construction for the NACS Transportation Center for the Northwest Allen County School District in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Each bid proposal must include all labor, material, and services necessary to complete the project in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications prepared by Barton Coe Vilamaa and on file at their office. Bids must be sealed and submitted by the specified deadline and location. Each bid package estimated to exceed $50,000 must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, or a bid bond in an amount equal to 5% of the bid, made payable to Northwest Allen County School District. Successful bidders will enter into a subcontract with FCI Construction as the Construction Manager as Constructor for the Owner. Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond may be required for faithful performance and payment of obligations. All bids must also include an alternate cost for providing a bond. Bids are not subject to modification, withdrawal, or cancellation for 60 days after the deadline without consent. The Northwest Allen County School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive informalities, irregularities, or inconsistencies, and bidders must supply all required information on the bid or bid proposal form.
