Plans call for demolition of the Public Works building, the City Hall Annex, and an additional building behind City Hall, the renovation of the existing City Hall for historical purposes, and the construction of a new municipal office to act as the new City Hall. As of April 7, 2026, the project is in design. The project is expected to bid out publicly to general contractors, but a bidding timeline has not been disclosed.
