**As of December 22,2025 the project was awarded to JM Construction, with an awarded amount of $231,070.** The City of Bowling Green, KY is soliciting bids for the construction of an 8' wide concrete multi-use path along Small house Road, from Campbell Lane to Thimble Finger Way to improve pedestrian safety. The project will include the installation of a new 8' concrete multi-use path, construction of ADA compliant ramps at designated locations, and improvements of storm system with installation of 18" HP Storm Pipe. Work will consist of, but is not limited to, multi-use path construction, installation of storm pipes and structures, grading and restoration of disturbed areas. All work shall be completed in accordance with City specifications. Evaluation Criteria Winning bid package will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Award Tuesday, December 2, 2025 (Pending BOC approval) Final Completion Date May 29, 2026. Liquidated Damages Liquidated Damages shall be $500 per day (as per contract General Instructions). A Bid Bond shall be submitted with your bid as required by KRS 45A.430. A cashier's check, or certified check, may be substituted for the Bid Bond. Also, an irrevocable letter of credit from a state or federally chartered bank, may be substituted as a form of a Bid Bond. The Bid Bond, or substitution security, shall be in the amount of five (5) percent of the total bid cost. Upon contractual agreement, the successful Respondent must replace the Bid Bond with a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in an amount no less than one hundred (100) percent of the total bid cost.
