As of December 01, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on December 2nd  Board of Commissioners meeting. The City of Bowling Green, Kentucky is not responsible for the premature opening of, or the failure to open, a sealed bid not properly addressed or identified. The City of Bowling Green, Kentucky reserves the right to reject any and all bids received, and to select that bid which it determines to be in its best interest. The award of this bid will be made on the basis of the Lowest Bid Price as permitted in KRS 45A.365. The City of Bowling Green, KY is soliciting bids from qualified respondents for the replacement of an existing Lochinvar boiler at the Sloan Convention Center, located at 1020 Wilkinson Trace, Bowling Green, KY 42103. There are two existing boilers and only one (1) needs replaced with Lochinvar FBN1251, or approved equal (oae). Approved equal requests shall be approved prior to bid submission and can be requested during the question and answer phase of this IFB. Contractor shall provide the following: o Boiler Permit o Electrical lockout o Valve off gas and water o Disconnect existing electrical o Disconnect existing water lines o Remove and dispose of existing boiler o Provide and install new Lochinvar FBN1251 (oae) on existing curb o Provide and install all necessary water tie-ins to existing piping o Provide and install all necessary natural gas tie-ins to existing piping o Provide and install condensate neutralizer and condensate drain o Provide and install boiler venting o Provide and install insulation on new piping o Provide electricians to rework electric, if needed o Provide and install new circulation pump o Start new boiler and ensure proper operation o Contractor shall provide a one (1) year warranty on all workmanship -Boiler: Lochinvar Crest Model FBN1251 (oae) -Variable Speed Pump: Lochinvar Model 100208412 (oae) -Condensate Neutralization Kit: Lochinvar Model 100289581 (oae) This contract shall be completed within 90 calendar days; Liquidated damages will be assessed at $750.00 per calendar day Question Deadline 10/30/2025 Questions should be addressed to the Procurement Manager in writing , City of Bowling Green Procurement Manager's Office 1017 College Street Bowling Green, Kentucky 42101 OR purchasing@bgky.org
