The Upper Cape Regional Transfer Station (UCRTS) Board of Managers is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for use of the UCRTS facility located on Joint Base Cape Cod. Such uses may include, but are not limited to, continued use of the property as a solid waste / construction and demolition (C&D) transfer station facility, or use as a waste water treatment plant sludge transfer or processing facility, recycling processing or transfer facility, organics material processing facility, salt storage facility, renewable energy facility, rail head, or other such uses. The Board is interested in mutually beneficial proposals that may include use of the property as a solid waste / construction and demolition (C&D) transfer station facility, a co-habitat use in conjunction with the intended use as a transfer facility, or other uses. Other potential uses may include, but not limited to, waste water treatment plant sludge transfer or processing facility, recycling processing or transfer facility, organics material processing facility, salt storage facility, renewable energy facility, rail head, or other such uses The Towns of Falmouth, Mashpee, and Sandwich (Towns), acting by and through the Upper Cape Regional Transfer Station Board of Managers (Board), is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for re-use of the Upper Cape Regional Transfer Station (UCRTS) or use of the UCRTS property located on Joint Base Cape Cod (JBCC) as described herein. The UCRTS property includes nearly 19 acres of land, a transfer station building, a truck scale, and a railroad spur. The proposed reuse or use of the subject UCRTS property will be effected by an agreement permitting use and occupancy of the property, subject to the terms and conditions therein; said agreement will NOT contemplate or entail any lease or other disposition of any legal interest in the subject real property
