The Jefferson Parish Sheriffs Office is hereby soliciting proposals from interested firms to provide Commissary Services to inmates at the Jefferson Parish Correctional Facilities (JPCC), Gretna, Louisiana 70054. Services would include maintaining an inventory of goods to sell to the inmates, taking orders from inmates, filling the orders and delivering the goods to the JPCC for distribution. The transactions must be accounted for in a computerized environment and activity reports provided to the JPCC. The JPCC must have access to the system and the system must provide for on-line real-time balances on account for each inmate. It is anticipated that the contract would go into effect no later than February 1, 2026.
