Description

Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Huntington Beach, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The Work consists of replacement and modernization of the McFadden Sewer Lift Station (Station No. 21). The Work includes construction of a new 120 gpm submersible sewer lift station, wet well and valve vault, installation of new gravity sewer and force main, demolition and abandonment of existing facilities, installation of a backup power generator and enclosure, and site restoration. The project includes construction of curb, gutter, sidewalk, AC paving, and other appurtenant work. Refer to Section 01010 - Summary of Work for the complete scope and requirements. Specialty subcontractor qualifications for Deep Soil Mixing (DSM) are specified therein.
