Renovation of a detention facility in Centralia, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade detention facility.
Centralia Correctional Center seeks a qualified and licensed vendor to repair and/or replace the ceiling and roof of Freezer 67 and upgrade the HVAC unit in one of the facility's industrial, walk-in coolers. The vendor is also responsible for removing the old HVAC unit, covering wall penetrations created by its removal, and cutting any new wall penetrations required for the installation of the new unit. Centralia Correctional Center retains the right to keep the existing operational HVAC unit being removed. The scope includes all materials and parts associated with the replacement such as insulation, joints, seals, connectors, and sheet metal. Mandatory attendance at a pre-bid conference/site visit is required, with registration for the visit limited to three participants per vendor. Bid submissions must follow the instructions provided for confirming attendance and for the completion and return of contract documents.
