All work, equipment and procedures must meet the requirements of the Manual for Assessing Safety Hardware (MASH) and comply with New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) Standard Specifications, regulations, directives, guidelines, policies, procedures, manuals, and all applicable laws. The scope of Crash Testing Services includes construction of a 600-foot cable run per provided shop drawings, photographic documentation of installation, preparation and conduct of a crash test conforming to MASH TL-4 criteria using a Single Unit Truck (with braking initiated only after the truck loses contact with the cable system), and project deliverables that include teleconferences with STV and NYSDOT teams, digital crash movie files and photographs, and a full crash testing report meeting MASH requirements. The subcontractor must have documented experience with similar MASH-compliant crash testing and possess necessary certifications. Bidders are responsible for confirming cable material sources and ensuring timely procurement. The bidder must include a detailed proposed schedule outlining all major milestones and deliverable dates as part of the bid submittal. STV reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities, invite new bid proposals, and disregard nonconforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids.
