The work involves the purchase and delivery of butterfly valves and related valve assemblies for the Jefferson Parish Department of Drainage. All assemblies must be new, assembled, tested, and ready for installation. Deliveries are to be made to the Ames Pump Station Warehouse at 5100 Rochester Drive, Marrero, LA 70072 during specified operating hours. Upon delivery, the vendor must provide training to Parish personnel on the operation and maintenance of the valves. Equivalent products may be accepted if they meet all specifications. Bidders must submit all required bid documents as a single PDF via the electronic procurement site. Questions must be submitted in writing at least five working days before the bid opening. One bid per vendor is permitted, and all bid forms must be completed, signed, and unaltered. Written evidence of signing authority must accompany all bids. Bid bonds, performance, and payment bonds are required as specified. The successful bidder must provide insurance certificates within ten days of bid opening. Affidavits (Generic Bid Affidavit and Technology Affidavit) must be properly executed and submitted as required. All products must be new, delivered FOB, and covered by a manufacturer’s warranty (two years for valves and actuators, three years for actuator assemblies). Additional requirements include compliance with state and local licensing, job site cleanliness, and protection of public welfare. All quoted prices must remain firm for the entire contract, with one allowed escalation under stated terms if requested.
