The contract is for a two-year period and involves the supply of residential and commercial water meters and assemblies for all water districts for the Jefferson Parish Department of Engineering. All bids must comply with the technical specifications and Jefferson Parish Instructions for Bidders and General Terms and Conditions. Bids must be submitted via the Purchasing Department’s eProcurement site by the specified due date and time. All bids are subject to the instructions, general conditions, any special conditions and specifications contained within the document, and the terms and conditions of Resolution No. 136353 and/or Resolution No. 141125. Vendors agree to comply with Louisiana Law, the Jefferson Parish Code of Ordinances, the Louisiana Code of Ethics, and applicable Jefferson Parish ethical standards. Only bids written in ink or typewritten and properly signed by an authorized representative will be accepted. Electronic signatures as defined by law are acceptable, and proof of secured digital signature must accompany the bid submission. Vendors are required to be registered with Jefferson Parish and to submit current W-9 forms. All quotations are to be based on F.O.B. Agency warehouse or job site as designated. All products must be new (current), and all work must be performed according to standard practices. Workmanship and materials must have at least a one-year guarantee unless otherwise specified. Any deviations from the specifications must be indicated in the bid submission, and supporting documentation may be required upon request.
