Summary The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in specifications. This Work will be performed in strict conformance with the specifications, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantity of Work to be performed and materials to be furnished are approximations only, being given as a basis for the comparison of Bids. Actual quantities of Work to be performed may vary at the discretion of the County. Background Sacramento County Department of Waste Management & Recycling (DWMR) plans to destroy four extraction wells on the perimeter of the closed (1978) Elk Grove Landfill. These wells are no longer used for groundwater extraction or monitoring. Three of the wells are located in or adjacent to park land, and the fourth is in a parking lot. The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and other incidental work for: destroying four extraction wells located on the perimeter of the closed Elk Grove Landfill, and remove the vaults associated with these wells.
