The rehabilitation of this owner-occupied, single-family residence is to make the home safer, more energy efficient, and easier to access within the provisions of federal, state, and county laws and ordinances and the SHIP repair program. The work includes tasks such as roofing removing the existing roof covering down to the decking, replacing damaged decking and roof framing, removing and discarding solar panels, installing various roofing components as specified, trimming overhanging trees, repairing fascia and soffit, and replacing gutters where currently installed. Photographs are required for all stages. Drywall repair is also required for all damaged or incomplete surfaces, matching areas to existing surroundings. If additional tasks beyond the included scope are discovered, additional funds may be allocated only with written county approval. Review the "Bid Scope Materials List" for product lines or their equivalents. Only electronic submissions through the vendor management software OpenGov will be accepted. Bidders must be licensed, insured, and in good standing with the County or submit a letter of insurability. The county may award bids line item by line item for emergency items limited to roofing and septic/sewer services. All submission instructions must be followed when submitting electronically.
