Project has not yet been awarded and they anticipate to award it next week ** The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing approximately 1,650 feet of 6-inch to 14-inch water main for new valves and connections to the existing 14-inch water main in Delano Avenue, including all necessary appurtenances and restoration. Bidders must examine project specifications, which are available online or at designated offices. Only bidders who are active members of the specified plan room may access electronic documents. Hard copy and mailed document fees apply and are non-refundable. Bidders must make Good Faith Efforts to ensure Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) have the opportunity to participate, which includes posting solicitations on the Michigan Infrastructure and Transportation Association (MITA) website and other outreach efforts. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to the City in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price must accompany each bid, binding the bidder for 90 days after bids are received. The project is funded by the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy Drinking Water Revolving Fund and local funds, with Davis-Bacon/Federal wages, debarment, and American Iron and Steel requirements applying.
