**As of December 2, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Construct a complete new 250,000-gallon (minimum usable volume) bolted glass-fused steel reservoir system including reinforced concrete foundation and appurtenances on a new tank site to be prepared by the contractor. The work includes perimeter security fencing and access gate, full tank system (vent, interior piping, hatches, ladders, cages, personal fall arrest system, aluminum dome roof, telemetry system, tank pressure gauge assembly, and cathodic protection). Tank and foundation design will require close collaboration with the engineer, owner, and geotechnical engineer, and preliminary design and costs are to be included as part of the bid. Bids will be for a single prime contract on a lump sum basis and must be accompanied by a bid security not less than 10% of the total bid amount. Bid security will be forfeited as fixed and liquidated damages should the bidder neglect or refuse to enter into a contract, provide insurance, bonds, or other required documents if awarded. All work is publicly funded, subject to state and federal equal opportunity, wage, and compliance law. The project is located as shown on the provided drawings and should be substantially complete within 300 days after notice to proceed. Estimated construction cost is between $1,630,000 and $1,800,000. Mandatory pre-bid meeting attendance is required. Each bid must contain statements of compliance with prevailing wage and bidder residency requirements. Additional requirements for signage per federal infrastructure investment guidelines apply. Submission details, bid withdrawal/hold periods, and rights of owner to reject or waive informalities are specified in the bidding documents. Pre-qualification requirements: Bidders must prequalify with the owner at least five days prior to the bid opening and must show recent and comparable project experience. For further qualification, all requirements are detailed in the instructions to bidders in the bidding documents. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
