The project must be substantially complete 45 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. Estimated construction cost is between $105,000 and $125,000. The project consists of the following major items of construction: Complete demolition and removal of all existing pump station equipment and appurtenances, except the existing wet well. The existing wet well will be cleaned and prepared for construction. Construct completely functional pump station by integrating pre-ordered equipment and new equipment. Pre-ordered equipment includes submersible pumps, pump drives, level controls, pump disconnect panel, pre-assembled valve vault, telemetry unit, and appurtenances. Procure all other materials needed for a completely functional pump station. The improvements will require construction of a new control panel that will integrate pre-ordered controls hardware. A new wet well lid, reinforced concrete slab, and a small CMU structure for mounting of electrical and controls equipment shall be constructed as part of this project. A new flow meter and vault must be constructed and integrated to the overall pump station system. Bypass pumping will not be required for this project. Bids will be received on a unit price basis for all of the work. No bid will be considered unless fully completed in the manner provided in the Instructions to Bidders and accompanied by a bid security executed in favor of the Owner in the amount not less than 10% of the total amount of the bid. Bidders must prequalify with Owner as specified in the Instructions to Bidders, five (5) days prior to bid opening. Each Bidder must submit a first-tier subcontractor disclosure form to the Owner within two working hours of the time for receipt of bids in accordance with ORS 279C.370. This contract is for a public work subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. Prevailing wage rates for public works contracts in Oregon are required for this project (PWR 2020). No bid will be received or considered by the Owner unless the bid contains: 1) a statement that bidder will comply with the provisions of ORS 279C.840 and 2) a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident bidder as defined in ORS 279A.120. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive all informalities, and to accept such bids that in the opinion of the Owner are in the best interest of the Owner. No bidder may withdraw or modify his/her bid after the hour set for the receipt of bids.
