The City of Weston, Florida (the CITY) will be accepting sealed bids for: Parks Equipment And Amenities The CITY is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide various amenities and equipment for parks and playgrounds throughout the CITY on an as needed basis, establishing a firm, fixed percentage discount from manufacturer's and/or proposer's current catalog/supply/product information price list for the purchase of various amenities and equipment as requested by the CITY's Parks and Recreation Department. The CITY reserves the right to award multiple PROPOSERS. PROPOSERS shall be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, off-loading, storage, and installation, of various equipment and amenities for parks and playground equipment or amenities ordered, unless otherwise specified by the CITY. The CITY may elect, in certain circumstances, to purchase materials only, as deemed appropriate. These items will be shipped to a designated location within the CITY limits and off-loaded by the PROPOSER or PROPOSER's representative. PROPOSERS shall submit with their proposal, at no charge, two (2) sets of each current catalog/supply/product information price list as well as current MSRP list for each catalog telephone number. Within fourteen days of the Notice to Award by City Commission, the successful Proposer offering installation services shall furnish to CITY performance and payment security in an amount equal to $100,000.00, as security for the faithful performance of Agreement and for the payment of all persons performing labor and/or furnishing materials in connection with the Agreement. Successful PROPOSER(s) offering installation services shall also be required to comply with the insurance requirements stipulated in Section 6, Standards of Insurance, as noted in the Agreement document. PROPOSERS are advised that the CITY has NOT authorized the use of CITY's seal by individuals or entities responding to the CITY's RFP, and that any such use by unauthorized persons or entities constitutes a second-degree misdemeanor pursuant to Section 165.043, Florida Statutes. If mandatory, all PROPOSERS planning to submit a proposal are required to attend this virtual conference. Failure of a PROPOSER to be present at mandatory conference shall render a PROPOSER to be deemed non-responsive and shall not be considered for award. Decisions of the CITY shall be final. Connect to the Live Event link via Cisco Webex Award will be made at a City Commission meeting. Proposal security in the form of a bond acceptable to the CITY or a cashier's check made payable to the "City of Weston" in the amount of $5,000.00 shall be required and submitted with proposal. Question Deadline 11/17/2025 Any questions concerning this solicitation shall be submitted in writing to the Director of Procurement, Martha Perez-Garviso at mperezgarviso@westonfl.org, with "RFP No. 2025-06, Parks Equipment and Amenities," in the subject line, at least five business days prior to submittal deadline. RIGHTS RESERVED 1. The CITY (through the City Commission, City Manager, Selection Committee or Protest Committee) reserves the right to: A. Reject any or all proposals; B. Waive any informality in a proposal; C. Waive any deficiency or irregularity in the selection process; D. Accept or reject any or all qualifications statements in part or in whole; and E. Request additional information as appropriate. 2. The City Commission reserves the right to: A. Award all or a portion of the services set forth in the RFP as determined to be in the best interest of the CITY; and B. Reject any or all proposals, if found by the City Commission not to be in the best interest of the CITY. C. In the event of a sole proposal, reject the sole proposal.
