Remodeling of a recreation facility in Nitro, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 24,000-square-foot, one-story above grade recreation facility.
The City of Nitro is seeking quotes for a gas heating system for the Indoor Pickleball Complex located at the Nitro Athletic Complex, 1650 Park Avenue, Nitro, WV 25143. The intent is to identify a qualified contractor or vendor to furnish and install an efficient heating system (radiant, forced air, heat pump, space heater, etc.) suitable for a large (120' x 200') indoor recreational facility. Consideration will also be given to any system that can provide ventilation and/or air conditioning as an add-on. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with "Sealed Bid: Indoor Pickleball Facility Heating System" or can be sent by email. The City of Nitro reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive minor irregularities, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Nitro. The City encourages bids from certified small, minority, and women-owned businesses. Reviewed at Nitro City Council Meeting: Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 7:00pm
