The Nicholas County Solid Waste Authority is seeking bids for replacement of office and shop roofs at our location in Calvin, WV. All bids shall meet the specifications set forth in the "Invitation For Bids". Box 59, Calvin, WV 26660 By Email: office@nicholascountyswa.com Questions are to be clearly labeled as : IFB, Office and Shop Roof Replacements It shall be the responsibility of the selected contractor to familiarize themselves with the Authority's solid waste operations and facilities. It shall also be the selected contractor's responsibility to verify that the repairs and warranty meets all specifications included in the IFB to the satisfaction of the NCSWA Board of Directors. If problems arise after repairs, it is the responsibility of the Contractor to correct any issues. The scope of work includes the following for both locations (office and shop roofs): Remove existing roof and dispose of materials. Install ISO insulation (2.6 inch thickness). Install EPDM membrane roofing, ensuring proper overlap, seam welding, and edge detailing. Install appropriate perimeter board, gravel stop, and all flashing for roof penetrations and terminations required for each building. Install all trim metal and install new side gutters. These specifications are not all inclusive to all materials and work that are required. All work will include a minimum ten (10) year warranty.
