As of December 16, 2025, project is awarded to the following Trade Contractors: 1. 4b: Masonry Rasco - Mason Contractors - $495,000.00 2. 6b: General Trades Package Parkway Forming, Inc. $1,723,960.00 3. 9b: Resilient Flooring, Carpet, Porcelain Tile and Base - Kingston Tile Company, Ltd - $249,357.00 4. 21b: Fire Protection Nelson Fire Protection $100,507.00 5. 22b: Plumbing Omega Plumbing, Inc. $597,000.00 6. 23b: Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning -The YMI Group, Inc. $1,760,247.00 7. 26b: Electrical and Communications - BME Electric, Inc. - $1,114,963.00 8. 31c: Site Grading, Excavation, Site Utilities, Fencing and Landscaping - Hoppys Landscaping, Inc. - $297,441.00 in the total amount of $6,338,475.00. Sealed bids are solicited for renovations at Sorrick Elementary School, North Palos School District 117, under multiple trade packages: Masonry, General Trades, Resilient Flooring/Carpeting/Porcelain Tile & Base, Fire Protection, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical and Communications, and Site Grading/Excavation/Site Utilities & Fencing. Bids must be submitted in opaque sealed envelopes clearly marked with the Trade Package Number and Trade Description. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cash for 10% of the base bid amount must be included. The successful bidder must provide insurance and performance/payment bonds equal to 100% of the proposal amount, included in the bid. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or waive irregularities or informalities. All bidders must comply with Illinois prevailing wage requirements and Equal Employment Opportunity Laws. Bidding documents are available from IHC Construction Co., and all plans must be obtained from them. Bidders who use online plan rooms must contact IHC Construction Co. to get timely notifications of addenda.
