Renovation of a detention facility in Yuma, Arizona. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
construction services, permits, fees, and taxes necessary to complete Project Number #25-200-78, Remove existing (1) air conditioner units and (5) mini-splits, make necessary modifications as needed and install new equipment and perform work as described in Nature and Scope of Work. Before submitting a Proposal, Contractors should carefully examine all provisions set forth herein, visit the site of the work, and fully inform themselves as to all existing field conditions, environment, and limitations. No consideration will be granted for any alleged misunderstanding of the material, practice, articles or piece of equipment to be furnished or work to be done. It is understood that the tender of the Proposal carries with it the agreement to all items and conditions referred to herein or indicated in the Contract Documents. All work MUST be installed/applied in accordance with Authority Having Jurisdiction ("AHJ") and County standards. Any proposal received after that time will not be opened or considered and will be returned to the proposer. All submittals shall be clearly marked "Detention Center Air Conditioner Units Replacement (PM) Project, #25-200-78." on the outside of all packaging material. Award will be made to the most responsible proposer submitting the overall best proposal, inclusive of alternates, if any, selected at the Yuma County Board of Supervisors' discretion. Question Deadline 11/12/2025 at 12:00 PM MT Should Contractors have any questions regarding this project, they must be submitted to R.E. (Steve) Mendoza, Project Manager via e-mail to Steve.Mendoza@ycso.yumacountyaz.gov. The contractors should reference the project number in the subject of the email. Yuma County Board of Supervisors is not responsible for proposal information based on information received from entities other than the Yuma County Sheriff's Office. The Contractor is responsible for obtaining correct and complete proposal or proposal documents. The Yuma County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or waive any informality in a proposal. No submitter may withdraw his proposal for a period of fifty (50) days after opening and reading of the proposals.
