Demolition, site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Lampeter, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot.
Sealed proposals are requested for curb and sidewalk improvements along Village Road (SR 0741) in West Lampeter Township. The scope of the project includes: site demolition, full-depth pavement removal, full-depth pavement shoulder widening, installation of concrete curb and sidewalk, installation of ADA curb ramps, modification to the existing stormwater collection and conveyance system, installation of a new stormwater collection and conveyance system, driveway pavement restoration, site grading, topsoil and sod placement, pavement markings and signage, and related work. The contract requires all costs of completion as described in the Project Manual. Proposals must include bid security of at least 10% of the total bid in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, bank treasurer's check, or bid bond payable to West Lampeter Township. Bids remain irrevocable for 60 days post-opening. Compliance with State anti-kickback regulations and submission of an executed anti-collusion statement are mandatory. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act applies. Performance and Payment Bonds, each for 100% of the contract amount with satisfactory corporate surety, are required from the successful bidder. West Lampeter Township reserves all rights to waive defects or reject bids as deemed in its best interests. Question Deadline 12/11/2025 at 5:00 PM ET
