Renovation of a military facility in Watervliet, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the effort required to install a 400A service from existing busway disconnect, across room 005, to room 003 in Building 35. The contractor shall connect the 400A service to a new 400A panel via 500mcm THHN Cable installed in Rigid metal conduit. The contractor shall then install a WVA supplied 480 delta/ 120/208 wye transformer, to feed a new 120/208 panel within room 003. The contractor shall also install approximately 70 feet of 12 cable tray, supported of the southern wall of room 005. Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, and equipment necessary to install a 400A electrical service to Room 003, Building 35, for the Vertical Lifting Machines (VLMs) in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. Service Contract Labor Standards 15-4143 Rev 32 apply and are incorporated. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for Thursday, 30 October 2025 at 1:00 PM EST. Access to the front gate requires advance coordination with Matt Pember at least 24 hours prior to the visit. The meeting point is the Visitor Center parking lot. Safety glasses are required, and safety shoes along with other appropriate personal protective equipment are recommended.
