Sealed bids are invited for baseball field fencing installation at 240 Spring St, Rockland, MA. Bids must be submitted with a bid security of 5% of the bid price in the form of a bid bond, cash, or certified check. A payment bond equal to 50% of the contract price will be required for contract performance. Bids are subject to Massachusetts public bidding laws and minimum wage rates must comply with state requirements. Weekly payroll records must be submitted as per Massachusetts laws. The contractor will be selected based on qualifications, evidence of past performance with similar projects, and bid price. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder. The bidder agrees the bid is valid for 30 days after opening. The Town of Rockland reserves the right to waive informalities and to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part, or take any action in the best interest of the Town.
