Northern Health is seeking proposals from Proponents for the provision of cleaning services for housing units in Prince Rupert. Northern Health maintains a range of housing across the region for health care staff that are working in the region either on a temporary basis or are moving to the community and require temporary housing. The intent of providing housing is to ensure health care staff have a safe, comfortable, and modern accommodation experience after providing health care services to the community. Northern Health is seeking proposals from Proponents for the provision of cleaning services for housing units in Prince Rupert. This comprises the following: Seven 2-bedroom units Five 3-bedroom units One 4-bedroom unit Note: units may be added or subtracted during the course of the contract 2. Services The services required will include, but are not limited to: Cleaning all shared areas once a week. Areas include: kitchen, bathroom(s), living room, enternace and other common areas Providing bedroom turnover service between occupants including laundry of linens Proividing and stocking consumables e.g. toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry soap/bounce etc. Additional cleaning on a needs-be basis. Removal of accumulated refuse and recycling Removal of perishable food left behind by occupants Report any items that need to be repaired to the Housing Coordinator. Making note of standard inventory items and reporting to Northern Health for replacement Proponents will be required to provide their own cleaning equipment and necessary cleaning agents. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
