Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Prince Rupert, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility.
The project scope includes the following work. Unless noted otherwise, the successful contractor is to supply and install all work noted below: Nurse call system replacement: a. Supply and install a new nurse call system Rauland Responder 5000 (or other suitable, alternate system, to be pre-approved) headend, consoles and power supply. b. Integrate the new head ends and consoles with the existing field devices. c. Preferably reuse all existing field devices, such as Nurse Call (NC) single bed call station, NC double bed call station, NC emergency call pull-cord station, NC pushbutton station, NC cardiac arrest (code blue) pushbutton station, NC tone station, NC staff station, etc. Otherwise, if not compatible with the existing system field devices, supply and replace them. d. Decommission existing Responder 4000 head ends, consoles and power supply. e. Provide as built drawing showing the changes made. The upgrade to be supplied must be compatible with the Vocera Smart badge system through the Engage middleware.
