Reference Number 0000297818 Question Acceptance Deadline : Sep 19, 2025 05:00 PM EDT Installation of water bottle filling station in the lunchroom. To meet Drinking Fountain Performance Specifications, potable water testing SOW and asbestos abatement consultant requirements (a) Bids submitted at $100,000 or greater shall include the following by the Closing Date and Time: i. A bid bond in a commercially reasonable form or an irrevocable standby letter of credit issued by a financial institution authorized to conduct business in Canada as a Schedule I or Schedule II chartered bank in the amount of at least 10% of the Bid Price and that shall be in effect until forty-five (45) calendar days following Closing Date. ii. A surety's consent indicating that, in accordance with section 5.18.1. of this ITT, the surety company will furnish the contract security which shall include a 50% performance bond and a 50% labour and materials payment bond of the Bid Price or a consent from the Schedule I or Schedule II chartered bank that an irrevocable standby letter of credit in the amount of 50% of the Bid Price will be furnished. Work of this Contract comprises general construction and renovations to install a water bottle filling station in the lunch room of Queen Charlotte City Government of Canada Building at 137 Bay St. in Daajing Giids, BC. 1. Provide new water bottle filling station. Provide all electrical, DCW, sanitary, and vent connections complete with trap, isolation valve, trim, and access panels. 2. Provide new bulkhead for water bottle filling station. 3. The Contractor will be required to conduct sampling for potable water quality after construction in accordance with applicable regulations and standards and have the sample analyzed by an accredited laboratory. Refer to the attached Pre-Construction Potable Water Survey Report. 2. The contractor shall provide all material and labour that is required for upgrades as indicated herein and/or on the drawings. 3. Protection of the Client's equipment during this project is critical. 4. Contractor is responsible for all plumbing, electrical, and building permits that may be charged. 5. Contractor shall be responsible for all the hoisting and placing of equipment. 6. Contractor shall present to the Project Manager a detailed work plan of construction staging. 7. Contractor is responsible for all other permits that may be required Award is subject to final approval
