Site work and outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field in Prince Rupert, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field.

The services will comprise all construction works for the Mariners Park Japanese Canadian Memorial and Fisherman’s Memorial Wall Redevelopment Project for the Project including, without limiting: (i) Proof of insurance naming the City as co-insured as well as an active local business license, as per the City’s Standing Contractors Agreement; (ii) All permitting requirements – including excavation permit, permit to construct, any electrical permits, and any other permits, inspections and permit closures as required by municipal, provincial or federal regulation; (iii) Site survey and submission to consultants; (iv) Site fencing to secure the full scope of the project site and appropriately redirect pedestrian traffic during construction works; (v) Demolition of existing wall, removal and relocation of existing benches, tables, lights, buoy sculptures, site prep as described by the contract documents in Appendices A, B, and C; (vi) Site preparation and grading activities as per specifications provided for in contract documents (Appendices A, B, and C); (vii) Completion of all construction of walls, railing installations and hardscaping as per project specifications in Appendices A, B, and C including and not limited to the grading and site lighting; (viii) Installation of subgrade, garden beds and grow media as per project specifications in Appendices A, B, and C Memorial wall replacement including signage and memorial plaques, with names and spelling provided by the city (Appendix C: Fisherman’s Memorial replacement); (ix) Installation of City Supplied interpretive signage as per specifications provided for in the contract documents (Appendices A, B, and C); (x) Data submission requirements for completed works to be provided to the City Project Team within 90 days of project completion, as per the CAD requirements in the Appendix D; (xi) Requirement to follow City chance/find procedure regarding archeological remains/findings; (xii) Project kick off meeting and bi-weekly updates to the City Project Team to ensure that staff are aware of project progress and any potential delays to the project schedule or impacts to scope;
