Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Henderson, Nevada. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
Project has been Rebid. The City of Henderson, Nevada, is soliciting responses from qualified companies to remove and replace an operable partition at Heritage Park Senior Center, located at 300 S Racetrack Rd, Henderson, Nevada. Question Deadline 03/04/2026 at 1200 PM PT All questions regarding this IFB must be submitted electronically through the NGEM system using the Questions Tab. Questions must be submitted prior to the Question Cutoff Date and Time shown in both the Event Details and Questions Tabs. 1/6/2026 4:00 PM Non-Participation Anticipated City Council Approval Base Bid Contractor shall perform all Work and provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, engineering and supervision necessary to remove and replace one (1) Hufcor operable partition with a like-for-like replacement. The existing partition is a Hufcor product with vinyl finish and STC-50 rating measuring approximately 52'-1" wide x 14'10" tall and comprised of 48"+/- connected panels. The replacement is limited to the partition and carriers, as the motor, switch, and track were recently inspected and found to be in good condition. Proposed new partition must be same panel height, fit in the existing storage pocket, similar panel width, similar panel color/finish, no egress doors through the partition and compatible with the existing track and motorized operation. The project scope includes, but is not limited to, the following: a. Field verification of all dimensions and existing conditions prior to fabrication and installation. b. Demolition and removal of the existing operable partition panels and associated components included in the replacement scope. The site can accommodate dumpsters for the demolition, but the Contractor shall coordinate all delivery and haul-off of demolition materials. There is no dock at the facility, so delivery of the new materials must be coordinated with liftgates, forklifts or ramped delivery. c. Provide and maintain barricades, signage, and dust protection (dust screening/containment) to keep the work area safe and operationally separated from occupied areas d. Coordinate and provide all required lifting equipment, access equipment, and installation means and methods e. Deliver and install a new operable partition system with ratings similar to existing partitions. Contractor to provide submittals to the City for review and approval prior to ordering partitions. f. There is no loading dock at the facility, so delivery of the new materials must be coordinated with liftgates, forklifts or ramped delivery. g. Contractor will be responsible for protection of existing conditions and all site conditions during performance of this Contract. Contractor is responsible for all clean up associated with this project. All trash and debris shall be cleaned up daily. City dumpsters may not be used. h. The rooms where the work will be performed will be temporarily closed to customers during the demolition and installation, however the facility will be in operation, therefore noisy or disruptive work shall be coordinated with City staff. i. Contractor is responsible for submitting for all required permits (including all required documentation) associated with this Work, however the City will pay the permit fees and shall not be included in the Bid amount. j. Provide warranty documentation, operations/maintenance information, and turnover demonstration to City staff upon completion. k. Include one (1) preventative maintenance visit at 12 months after substantial completion. Preventative maintenance visit shall include all items recommended by manufacturer. The visit should, at minimum, include inspections of track, carriers and partitions for proper operation and alignment, and lubrication per manufacturers recommendations. Contractor shall coordinate preventative maintenance schedule with the City. Preventative maintenance shall include labor and consumables. Contractor shall provide written service report to the City after the preventative maintenance visit. B. The City will be responsible for incidental/minor patch & repair to adjacent wall or ceiling finishes due to construction activities.
