Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Monterey, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work, in general, consists of but not be limited to, the rehabilitation of approximately 1,812 LF of sanitary sewer pipe via cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) within the City of Monterey. The work may entail offsite disposal of sewer material; contractor will be required to install bypass pumps from the upstream manhole into the downstream manhole during the curing process. Question Deadline 11/12/2025 at 4:00 PM PT Question Response Deadline: November 14, 2025, 4:00pm Bid Bond Submission Deadline: November 18, 2025, 1:00pm Contractor Selection Date: December 16, 2025 An original certified check or cashier's check payable to the order of the City of Monterey, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid amount shall be uploaded with each bid, as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. The bid bond must be notarized, include the embossed surety seal, and include a Power of Attorney if the signee is not an officer of the surety. The contract shall be executed by the successful bidder and shall be returned, together with the Payment Bond, Performance Bond and Certificate(s) of Insurance to City of Monterey so that it is received within 15 daysafter the Notice of Award is issued Failure to do so shall be just cause for forfeiture of the proposal guaranty.
