The project is expected to be awarded on January 7th, 2026.** The project proposes to remove the remaining portion of the existing bridge on Turberville Road over Wrights Creek and replace it with a prefabricated bridge structure (Bailey Bridge). The new bridge will remain within the same footprint as the existing one and will be approximately 60-feet in length, consisting of two 30-foot spans supported by two end bents and one intermediate bent, for a total of three pile bents. Only one intermediate pile bent will be required within Wrights Creek. The existing three timber pile bents in the creek channel will be removed. Roadway approaches at each end of the bridge will maintain the existing graded dirt road, with adjustments to the road profile for a smooth transition to the new bridge's required vertical alignment. Plans, specifications, and contract documents are available for public inspection or purchase, and electronic copies may be obtained free of charge. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or reject any or all bids. The project location is approximately 6 miles southwest of the City of Graceville, Florida. The location is approximately 17 miles upstream of the mouth of Wrights Creek. The existing bridge was damaged in a past storm event that resulted in the bridge decking being removed. The project proposes to remove the portion of the existing bridge that remains and replace with a prefabricated bridge structure ("Bailey Bridge").
